Drug smuggler may recieve death penalty in Indonesia

A woman from Brittain is facing the death penalty for introducing 1.4 kilograms of cristal meth into Indonesia.

A woman identified as Andrea Waldeck, 43, from Great Britain was arrested for possesion in her hotel room in Surabaya, Indonesia, last April, and will be judged on November 25th.

She told the court she was forced to bring the drugs from China.

The woman used to be a police officer in Gloucestershire, Great Britain, and left the force in February 2012.

Indonesian law has one of the toughest consequences when it comes to drug dealing and distribution, and practices death sentences.
